We really do have so much to be thankful for, and it is fun to celebrate Thanksgiving and remember those things. We traveled down to Kanab this year to spend Thanksgiving with my Dad's family. He has a big family and I love being around everyone. We had a great time. We went down on Thursday and got there just in time to eat. We ate at a church and there was so much good food! Yum!!!
After we had digested enough to be able to move, some of the girls got together and did crafts. We slept at Matt and Julie's house. They were so kind and even prepared a closet for Blake to sleep in! I know, we sound like terrible parents, but it was a big closet and Blake sleeps so much better when he is in his "own room," or at least separated by a door. It was so fun catching up with my "best friend cousin" Ashley. She is the greatest!
Friday morning we just went over to my grandparents and hung out for a while. They are so awesome. Grandpa hooked up the riding lawnmower to a wagon and pulled Blake around the back yard. He loved it! Grandma made us a delicious lunch. She is always cooking, and everyone knows that there is always good food to be had and plenty of it at Grandma's house. I love my Grandparents so much. They raised 9 wonderful children and I am always amazed by them and appreciate their good example.
My dad and Lacee took Wade, Blake, and I out to see this hidden lake in a cave on the way out of town. Blake thought it was cool when Grandpa threw rocks in the water and especially enjoyed letting out little yells to hear his echo.
We got back Friday night, then it was back to work. We have been working non-stop on our house, but all that hard work is about to pay off. We are going to move in this weekend and are so excited to enjoy the fruit of our labors. I'll post pictures, I just need to take some!

The Cousins
Blake is having so much fun with his cousins in town!
They took a bath together in Grandma and Grandpa's big tub!
Claire loves giving hugs and kisses!
Look at these cute little mischief makers!
These kids love reading books. We took them to story time at the library yesterday. They enjoyed it for a minute, but I'll just put it this way, they all have too much energy to sit still for that long!
Blake is not going to know what to do when his cute cousins aren't around any more to entertain him! They are such great buddies!

GROOVY!!
We celebrated my mother-in-law's 50th birthday on Wednesday night. It was a surprise party! Wade's sister Rachael came all the way from Ohio with her two kids to surprise her mom. The party was a 70's theme to help Stacy relive her high school years. Rachael made this awesome cake and brought some really cute decorations. Kallie planned some great entertainment. A lot of people showed up and everyone had a great time!
Stacy was really surprised and especially excited to see her cute grandkids! It was fun to see her so surprised she was almost in tears.
